What do you do for the rest of the year?
It’s a question we get asked a lot! Contrary to most peoples beliefs (that we’re yatching around the Adriatic), we’re actually on the farm preparing for the coming season! Our tree nursery in the Peak District takes a lot of care and attention. We like to experiment on the trees there as we’re constantly striving to grow the perfect tree. At our nursery we only use organic fertilisers such as guano and chicken manure….Pooo!!
What about the waste you produce?
Well, we don’t generate a lot of waste really and we’re all very keen to keep our green credentials in check, be it at home or work 🙂
Any left over timber gets processed into cladding, flooring and decking. The left over tree netting gets processed into shower scrunchies and we even re-use the screws out of our pallets!
